November 7th at Lot 10 Bar and Lounge

We’re getting ready for Aunt Irene’s Late at Night show – her first gig at a bar. Here are some of the characters:

aunt irene and witch

Here’s Aunt Irene herself behind her desk with her beloved plant – a 200 year old bonsai. And on the other side of the stage, an evil young witch who plans to control the show with her older, beautiful (well, for a witch) lilysilly w mrbluesister.

Now here is Mr. Blue, a fuzzy guy who has a very odd act involving a radio and some interesting puppet science. See Mr. Blue discover the truth about himself and his own interior.

And here is the lilysilly w slothpopular singing sloth. Madame Sloth is hard to get for a performance because she sleep all day long and rarely gets up. She can often be mistaken for a tree limb. But for Aunt Irene she gets her act together.

We hope to see you on November 7th at Lot 10 for this puppet experience!

Aunt Irene’s Late at Night Puppet Show

A puppet show for all ages, Aunt Irene’s talk show goes awry as witches compete with celebrity guests, experts and musical numbers. See Johnny Depp, Carl Sagan, a singing sloth and a whole lot of absurdity. Live music by Matthew Ocone.

Puppets in Trumansburg NY

YesAroundtheWorldp

LilySilly is coming to T-burg with our Yes Around the World puppet show and a puppet-making workshop afterwards!

Join us at the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts on July 11th at 11am.

In “Yes Around the World” a purple puppet travels around the world in his hot air balloon on a quest to say “yes”. “Everywhere I go, people always say no” he concludes. “No, no, no – what a mess – I’m gonna say ‘yes’!”, he sings from up in the sky. Everyone learns to say all kinds of yeses as we travel from country to country. Meanwhile, the NoNo Bird is following close behind.

This show features jazz standards and songs from around the world in different languages. Languages include: Russian, Spanish, Swahili, French, German and a duck quacking in Portuguese.
